This song has always troubled me...the lyrics and what-not - I just can't figure them out. But it's a damned sexy song. Definatly one of my all time favorites. Just the last half of the song because it's pretty long.

Hey, I've been planning on doing a piece for that song as well. Got the idea in my head, just waiting for the one stock image to be the catalyst and light a fire under my mouse. Great image, just not sure the title fits, but I'm sure you wanted to avoid something obvious like, "Reap what you sowe".

Well, see, Hotel California is in fact a place that used to be a church, but then a group of people went in and completely turned it into a Satanic temple, if you wanna call it a temple. I do believe it has a bar in it, but underground like how it says in the song, is where they have their rituals, stuff like that. It's a place pratically for this Satanist clan. "...And in the master's chambers, they gathered for the feast, they stab it with their steely knives..." That pretty much is explaining one of the ceremonies or somewhat, perhaps a sacrifice of an animal or something? Anyway, I love the picture, you did great on drawing it. Keep it up n.n

Yeah it's pretty creepy. The song itself has double meaning, the drug thing most people claim, but the other is about the Satanic clan, which I do believe the song actually refers to. But how they mension gathering around in the master's chamber to have a feast, and they stab at the beast with their steel knives, that refers to 2 things:
1) Chopping the drug into smaller pieces to snort
2) Satanists have sacrifical rituals where they bleed a beast to death by stabbing it constantly, usually a boar or something large like that.
No problem! I actually got my information from a friend of mine, and yes, knowing about this makes the song even more creepier than it is. x:
